Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 29, 2026
Two Oaks Technologies LLC ("Two Oaks," "we," "us," or "our") operates two-oaks-technologies.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect through the Site, why we collect it, how it's stored, who it's shared with, and how you can request access to or deletion of it.
1. Information we collect
The only personal information the Site collects is what you choose to give us through the consultation request form on our Contact page: your name, business name, phone number, the service you're interested in, and any message you add. If you call, text, or email us directly, we receive whatever information is included in that call, text, or email.
This Site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors reach and use
the Site — which pages get viewed, which links get clicked, and where visitors are coming from.
Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_FZLYL9H5LD) to
recognize a returning browser. We have Google's advertising features
(Google Signals, remarketing, and audience demographics) turned on, which lets Google
associate visits with the signed-in Google accounts of people who have opted in to Ads
Personalization, and lets us build audiences we could show ads to later. Nothing on this Site
collects credit card or payment information (see Section 5).
Analytics cookies are only set after you accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, or ignore the banner, no analytics or advertising cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google — the rest of the Site works the same either way. You can change your mind later by clearing this site's data in your browser, which removes your saved choice and shows the banner again.
Google acts as an independent data processor for the analytics and advertising data it receives. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Beyond Google Analytics, no information is collected automatically beyond standard web server logs kept by our hosting provider (see Section 4).
2. Why we collect it
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your consultation request, discuss your project, and provide the services you ask us for. We don't use it for advertising, and we don't sell it.
3. How it's stored
Form submissions are processed by Netlify's form-handling service and delivered to Mike's inbox at mike@two-oaks-technologies.com. Submissions remain visible in our Netlify dashboard until we delete them. We keep consultation requests only as long as reasonably needed to follow up with you or, if you become a client, as part of your project records.
4. Who it's shared with
We share information only with the service providers that make the Site and our response to you possible:
- Netlify — hosting, form processing, and server logs.
- Email delivery to reach Mike directly when you submit the form.
- Google (Google Analytics 4) — traffic and behavior data from visitors who accepted the cookie banner, including advertising features (see Section 1).
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Payment information
This Site does not collect or store credit card or other payment information. Any invoicing or payment for services is handled outside this website through a secure, reputable third-party payment processor. We never see or store your full card details.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to:
- Know what information we have about you
- Request a copy of it
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request that we delete it
- Opt out of any future marketing communication
To exercise any of these rights, email mike@two-oaks-technologies.com or call 256-529-0546. We'll respond within a reasonable time and confirm once your request has been completed.
7. Children's privacy
This Site is intended for business owners and adults, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
9. Accessibility
See our Accessibility Statement for how the Site is built to WCAG 2.1 AA, what's known to work well with assistive technology, and how to report an accessibility problem.
